Chris Booth

"I don't want nor have anything deeply profound about the work . . . other than I make what I do because I just absolutely love drawing and building things . . . I always have since I was a kid. We live in such a complicated world full of huge issues and this work solves none of them. If I write that, I don't feel that I will be taken very seriously . . . and if I say something deep and serious, I feel it isn't why I make art.

I guess I love art that's a puzzle or asks a question rather than giving an answer . . . I don't like having to read an essay to help me understand. I'd like the audience to leave wondering about what they've seen and making their own story up"
