The Song Of The Phoenix
March 1 - 14, 2010
The phoenix is a mythical bird that represents rebirth, immortality, peace and the union of the yin & yang.
This bird flies down from the heavens to Earth at pivotal times when there is a new era of change. It helps mankind and then returns to the heavens.
Each morning this beautiful bird bathes and sings in a nearby well of water. The sound of this singing is magical. This beautiful appearance and singing inspires hope and creativity. It is a gentle creature who wishes to harm no-one and nothing. Instead it will heal other creatures with its tears, bringing an end to suffering.
The phoenix by flying up ahead to view what is occurring on the earth shows that we have an ability of great vision. With this vision there is change.
The phoenix lives forever. It lives a very long life then builds a nest in which it lights & burns itself in the flames. A new and regenerated self then rises from the ashes to live another long life.
The exhibition SONG OF THE PHOENIX is celebrating the spirit of all things and how we are working individually and collectively to help create a new era where we all live our dreams and be who we really are.
